We've got another interesting and informative issue for you! Some great interviews and fascinating articles. At A&CNet, we are committed to doing our small part in helping the Art & Craft Industry grow. Grab your favorite reading chair and get ready for some beneficial insights, some good advice, and to be challenged and encouraged!

I wouldn't say this issue has any one particular theme other than to benefit you. As always it's all about unique artists experiencing unique lives and there's some good tips for your career and art or craft business!

So, here's what we have for you —

  • Our "Spotlight Q&A Interview" is with an Artisan/Potter form the Kootenay Region of B.C., Sarah Lawless. Some great tips from a talented artist.

  • For our first Special Feature, we're bringing you the first in a new series of articles on How to Sell Your Art. In this issue, glass artist and author, Steve Popkin, speaks to those just beginning their art or craft career with "How To Earn a Great Living as a Craft Fair Artist"

  • Our Special Guest Article comes courtesy of Robert Genn. Robert writes about "The Fine Art of Journalling".

  • In this issue we continue our new series on "Lesser Known or Forgotten Biographies". We always hear and know about the 'big names' in our Industry or in past history. But there are a lot of people who 'have a claim to fame'. Some of them we've just forgotten about and we need some reminding. Some of them we'll bringing you, you may not have ever known about before. In this issue, our Bio is on Artist, John William Waterhouse. There's a good chance we've all seen his art somewhere.

  • Our Feature Art & Craft Media article is not so much about a media type but the musical instrument application of the clay medium. It's all about the Ocarina...

  • This issue's Ask An Artist takes a few moments of introspection to answer the question of "What steals my power? Some good food for thought...

  • And finally, our Dollars & Sense Tips is about a seeming contradiction of terms that is a key to success nowadays — "Patient Persistence". Here's some great advice for anybody with an art or craft business!

We are both pleased and honoured to share our passion and bring the Art & Craft Community together, sharing fascinating life stories, beneficial information and unique insights, and great advice. North America is blessed with so many creative and talented people… It's our pleasure to offer the A&CNet e-Zine as a unique "platform" where we can get to know each other, help each other, and grow both as artists, artisans & crafters and as enthusiastic art and craft lovers.

We hope you enjoy this issue.

All the best to you!
