We've got another great issue for you! It's packed with what we believe will be some interesting interviews and informative articles. At A&CNet, we are committed to doing our small part in helping the Canadian Art & Craft Industry grow. Grab your favorite chair or piece of the couch and get ready for another good read!

Our “Spotlight Q&A Interview” is with Silversmith/Jewelry Artisan Sheila Fendall. Sheila is one of those down-to-earth easy-going artisans who love what they do and have an endless passion for their craft.

For our Special Feature, we're continuing our series on Drawing! For many crafts and art forms, a good way to improve your work is by improving foundational skills, such as drawing. It's so key to almost all art and craft forms in the planning and preparing phase of any art peice. Brenda Hoddinott gives us 50 Terrific Tips for Drawing... With over 25 years of drawing experience she definitely knows something about it. This will surely be a good refresher if not teach you something new...

Our Special Guest Article comes courtesy of Alan Detwiler. Alan's not an artist nor talking about an art or craft but he definitely IS talking about creativity and harnessing that motivation inside of us to create, to invent, to build, to "make something" new or better… to do something we’ve wondered about or never got around to doing… Consider his challenge...

Our Feature Media article is all about a fascinating art and craft medium that many of us are not too familliar with — “Gourds”. Upcoming multimedia artisan, Janny Stratichuk, opens our eyes to the “The Evolution of Gourds” a utilitarian and artistic medium that's been around since the dawn of civilization.

This issue's Ask An Artist poses a good question and accomplished Canadian artist, Robert Genn, provides us with a fitting answer...

For our always practical “Dollars and Sense” Tips we're answering a huge and timely question — “Does An Artist or Crafter Need a Website?” This detailed analysis is a highly recommended "MUST" read for any participant in the Art and Craft Community!

We are both pleased and honoured to share our passion and bring the Art & Craft Community of Canada together, sharing beneficial information, unique insights and great advice. Canada is blessed with so many creative and talented people… It's our pleasure to offer the A&CNet e-Zine as a unique "platform" where we can get to know each other, help each other, and grow both as artists, artisans & crafters and as enthusiastic art and craft-loving Canadians.

We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed making it.

All the best to you!
